How long do the bonds, tapes and clips last?

Bonding extensions generally last 4-6 months. Depending on the condition of your own hair. The finer and more sensitive your own hair, the shorter the wearing time should be. The more often the hair is washed and styled, the more tension is exerted on the joints and the more strain is placed on the hair. Natural hair loss and hair growth can also cause the ratio between strands of hair and the thickness of your own hair to become unbalanced over time, because the golden rule for every hair extension is: choose the amount of your own hair according to the thickness of the strands. After a maximum of 4-6 months, however, some of your own hair to which the strand is attached will have fallen out. Result: The strand is too heavy, your own hair cannot carry it anymore and it can happen that it tears out with your own hair.

To prevent this, we recommend that you wear bonded strands for a maximum period of 3 to 4 months. With our GoodBye-Solution we guarantee you a painless removal of your bonded extensions. In addition, we recommend that you make a cleaning cut at the hairdresser every 4 - 6 weeks. The regular cleaning cuts are a must, because every person loses up to 100 hairs per day - of course they also get stuck at the joints.

Tape-Ins

Tape-Ins should be removed after 6-8 weeks with the Tape-Ex-Remover and can be re-laminated with the Come-Back-Tapes and put up again (reuse: possible about twice).

The main reason for reapplying is not the hair quality, but because the bonds and tape-ins move down through the natural hair growth and then become visible.

Clips

Clip-In Extensions are intended for short-term use, for example for weddings, parties or events. They can easily be attached by yourself and can be removed from your own hair at any time by opening the clip. TIP: lightly backcomb the hair before attaching the clip, this leads to a safer and longer hold. Clip-ins should always be removed before going to sleep, as the friction during sleep can damage the clips. Regular washing and care of your clip-ins will make your hair smoother and shinier. Depending on how often you wear and care for these extensions, they will last for a very long time. We recommend storing the clips in a place protected from light.
